Hey Anglers, We just had our 3rd Tournament on Saturday at Lake Griffin in Leesburg, and we had a good turn-out and the day turned out to be pretty nice. The wind was present of course and we had a little rain but not much ,just enough to help cool off. I would like to congratulate Jerry Daniels for his 1st place finish in the Disabled Division with 5 fish weighing 11.15 lbs. and Big Bass weighing in at 2.85 lbs. Ken Carter finished in 2nd with 4 fish weighing 7.75 lbs. Chuck Wood finished in 3rd place with 4 fish weighing 3.72 lbs. In the Captains Division I would like to congratulate George Wilbanks for his 1st place finish with 5 fish weighing 10.57 lbs. New comer Gerry Owen finished 2nd with 2 fish weighing 5.81 lbs. and Big Bass weighing in at 4.27 lbs. Mike Laws finished 3rd with 3 fish weighing 4.38 lbs. The 22nd U.S. Open Bass Tournament hosted by the Central Florida P.V.A. is on April 18th – 20th. I hope that everyone has signed up already and I hope to see everyone there. Also I know that they are short on Boat Captains so if you know of anyone with a boat that likes to fish or if you know someone that just likes to fish, please let them know so they can contact Brian Terwilliger to sign-up at 800-940-2378 or cfpva1977@bellsouth.net Our next tournament is set for June 8th which is a Sunday on the Clermont Chain in Clermont.
